Candidate Eligibility
The following general expectations apply to Resident Council candidates. Additional community or Housing Alliance requirements may apply. Final eligibility will be verified after a nomination is submitted.
- Be a current resident of the community in which the individual seeks office.
- Meet applicable Housing Alliance residency and participation requirements.
- Be willing to carry out the responsibilities of the position.
- Be willing to attend and participate in Resident Council meetings.
- Support respectful communication and cooperation within the community.
- Provide accurate information during the nomination process.
- Complete any required eligibility or candidate-acceptance steps.
- Meet any additional requirements communicated by Housing Alliance or Resident Council leadership.

Submitting a nomination does not confirm eligibility or guarantee placement on the ballot.
Eligibility and willingness to serve will be verified before a candidate is approved.
